We prioritise a structure that promotes organisational sustainability, with a focus on responsibilities, internal rules, organisational processes and related performance indicators, supporting employer branding and internal communication.

CORPORATE GOVERNANCE ROLE

Sustainability plays a key role in our operational decisions, and it is essential for us to reduce our environmental footprint in our daily activities and integrate the social and corporate governance principles of sustainable development into our operations. In recognition of this, we strive to raise awareness and responsibility among our employees and seek to provide them with opportunities through which they can contribute to the process.

 

ESG-related functions within the organisational structure

We have established an ESG Centre and a Sustainability Operations Centre to ensure that environmental, climate protection and sustainability issues are fully and effectively addressed.

The ESG Centre is an independent unit under the direct supervision of the CEO, where a dedicated ESG expert assesses and reviews transactions and projects. The Centre’s activities cover the implementation of the ESG strategy, as well as the coordination of the work of the (sub)units supporting its operations.

The Sustainability Transactions Centre is a sub-unit within the Business Development Directorate, responsible for designing and developing the green financing practices of EXIM Hungary and managing the related tasks.
