ESG – SOCIAL

Together for a sustainable future!

It’s important for us that our colleagues feel at home in all areas at EXIM Hungary. As a family-friendly and stable workplace, we maintain active internal communication to ensure regular exchange of information, organise wellbeing activities to build community, and offer a wide range of fringe benefits, including physical and mental health care, early retirement and various insurances.

EXIM higher education courses

Our training activities in the field of export finance cover a broad spectrum of domestic business education, and we consider it important to educate the future generation, in which our highly qualified colleagues play a key role:

  • at prestigious higher education institutions (Corvinus University of Budapest, Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, Budapest Business University) we introduce students to the world of export credit agencies by presenting our operations at a variety of courses;
  • We also work in close partnership with professional organisations to provide up-to-date information ((Foreign Trade Attache, Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, HEPA Export Academy, Budapest Institute of Banking, commercial banks).

We believe in people-centred operation

Family-friendly workplace

We believe that work-life balance is of paramount importance, and we support it through a range of tools, from flexible working schemes to maternity programmes and mental health sessions. In 2023, we were awarded the family friendly workplace certification mark for our efforts to improve our company culture.

Exim Spirit

We have created the EXIM Spirit platform, which consists of a new online internal communication platform and a series of wellbeing-focused events and activities.

The initiative was designed to help colleagues connect with the company and each other in an interactive way.

THE IMPORTANCE OF DIVERSITY

Gender equality is important to strengthen diversity & inclusion efforts. Currently, women account for nearly 52% of our employees and around 38% of our managers, which is an outstanding figure among financial institutions both in Hungary and in the EU.
