International presence of Hungarian companies gains new momentum
EXIM Hungary and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, have extended their cooperation, opening up new opportunities for Hungarian companies to strengthen their presence in foreign markets.
The agreement aims to further expand the international competitiveness of Hungarian exporters in markets outside the European Union with significant growth potential.
The cooperation agreement was signed following consultations between Richárd Szabados, State Secretary for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Development, Technology and Defence Industry, and Elena Bourganskai, Vice President of the IFC. Our institution was represented at the meeting by our CEO, Dr Adrienn Berta and our Deputy CEO for Business, István Széll.
Under the agreement, Hungary will support development initiatives for domestic companies in priority sectors and in target countries with significant growth potential in the coming years. The partnership lays the foundation for Hungarian companies to get involved in the implementation of projects, gain experience in foreign markets, and further strengthen their presence abroad.
As part of our cooperation with the International Finance Corporation, the global institution organises several educational conferences specifically for companies with an interest in international projects, with the aim of strengthening their competitiveness and facilitating their successful participation in business opportunities offered by the World Bank Group.
