The PortfoLion Regional Fund II was set up in August 2020 with a share capital of HUF 25 billion, provided equally by Eximbank and OTP Bank. The Fund’s aim is to put CEE companies on a long-term, global growth path. In addition to Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia, and Croatia are also target countries for the Fund. The Fund focuses mainly on the following sectors: digital technologies, software development, ICT, online services and automation. The Fund intends to carry out buy-outs and capital increases as well. Duration of the Fund: 10 years. In line with its previous practice, Portfolion not only supports the companies in its portfolio financially but also provides active and strong professional support for growth.
